This past Sunday, September 28, we had the joy of serving at our church — not just as a family, but as Mercy Desserts. It was one of those days that reminded us why we started this journey in the first place: to share love, faith, and tradition through every bite.
A Table Filled with Heart
Our dessert table may have been small, but it was full of meaning. We served two of our signature creations — each one carrying a story of its own.
_Spicy Chocolate Cake with Cinnamon Italian Meringue:
Rich, bold, and full of warmth — just like our faith. The hint of spice and the soft swirl of meringue brought together comfort and

courage, a reminder that even in sweetness, there’s strength.
_ Pineapple-Coconut Mini Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting:
These little bites were sunshine on a plate. Tropical, light, and joyful — they reflected the spirit of gratitude and togetherness we felt all morning long.
_Grandma’s Jello Cubes
A true Mercy family tradition. Bright, colorful, and made with love, Grandma Tata’s jello cubes brought smiles and memories to every plate. It was a recipe that has been passed down for generations — and one that connects us all back to her heart.
The Joy of Sharing
As we passed out each dessert, we saw smiles, laughter, and conversations began to bloom. It wasn’t just about cupcakes or cake — it was about connection. The aroma of chocolate and cinnamon, the creamy frosting, the sparkle of joy in every taste — it all became a shared celebration of faith and community.
Our family has always believed that baking is a form of love. And when we bring those traditions to church, it feels like bringing a piece of our home to God’s table.
Carrying On the Mercy Tradition
Every serving, every recipe, every memory is inspired by the generations before us — especially Grandma Tata, whose kindness and sweetness built the foundation of Mercy Desserts.
As we cleaned up after service, the fragrance of chocolate and pineapple still filled the air, a soft reminder that love leaves traces long after the moment passes.
Because at Mercy Desserts, we believe that faith and flavor are best when shared.
